The MC319 is the successor to the MC219, providing the same relentless attention
to detail and legendary performance in an improved form. The MC319 is housed
in a new casing which has been acoustically designed to cut down the sound
refractions inside the grill, allowing a smoother and more open sound, as
well as being more rugged and shock resistant. The switches are also improved
and whilst still using magnetic reed switches the mechanism is more user
orientated. Using the same capsule design and circuit board, in conjunction
with a gold plated XLR output, ensures that this is a most reliable and
natural sounding microphone. Used on any sound source where a warm and natural
sound is the desired effect, the MK319 is the perfect choice. When used
for close miking vocals a pop shield is highly recommended. Textured matte-black
finish. " |

This microphone was developed for clean kick drum and bass guitar performance
with a powerful, punchy sound. Absolutely free of distortion even at high
sound pressure levels, very low diaphragm resonance, a relatively narrow-band
rising high frequency response at 4 kHz and an extremely robust construction
are the outstanding features of this microphone. " |
